It looks like Sideshow will be revisiting Darth Maul.  Check out this preview for the new version that will be unveiled at SDCC2015 later this week:  http://www.sideshowtoy.com/whats-new/darth-maul-sixth-scale-figure/

Interesting.  Although when I see the price tag I may have to reconsider.  IIRC, the first Darth Vader was based on his appearance in A NEW HOPE.  This clearly seems to be a TESB version.  And I imagine they could very well do a ROTJ version down the line, too.

Yeah, I think you're right about the first version being from ANH.  I doubt this new ESB version is going to be less than $200 (probably closer to $225 to $250).   :'(

Looks like Sideshow is updating their Darth Vader:

Spooktacular Deluxe Darth Vader preview

It looks like a pretty good update!  I have the original Vader but he was so massive that he almost looks out of place with the other figures.

Amazing.  My Thrawn order is coming in a few weeks.  That one I ordered with his chair so that would be awesome to display.

From what I've seen of the pictures one problem with it is that the helmet seems small.

Anybody get their 1/6 Vader yet?  I've heard mixed reports regarding the quality of the paint apps, although some of those seem to misunderstood (ex. unpainted right "tusk").  I'm wondering how the articulation is on Vader.  It doesn't look like his wrists or ankles can do anything but swivel.

I'm gonna wait until I see this in person before I pull the trigger.  I missed out on the exclusive version.  And lucky for me there's a dealer who offers a lot of Sideshow stock right down the road.

Got my 18 day notification yesterday for the 12" Vader....

I've backed off most of the Sideshow 12 inchers, but I can't wait to see this one in person.
