Darth Wallet's estate is a vacation destination??
Not as much as it used to be, before he had kids. Just Kidding, Darth Wallet doesn't live in NJ.

I was on vacation last week staying with Darth Wallet who let have access to his Netflix account. While I wanted to watch all the Marvel shows, there wasn't enough time. I did manage to watch one show that I heard good things about, and that was Stranger Things. I really enjoyed this show, a cross between several 80's movies. A little Goonies, E.T., Poltergeist and a few others. Can't wait for season two.

Split

I kept waiting for a certain character to show up, but he showed up after I expected so that was disappointing.  Didn't really move the needle.

Shin Godzilla (Godzilla Resurgence)

Whoever made this movie brought great dishonor upon their ancestors.  I was hoping for a classic, hokey Godzilla flick with modern special effects.  What I got was a two hour film about Japanese bureaucracy with a few minutes of a Godzilla-like creature in it.

Oh man, I really enjoyed it.  It was very reminiscent of the 1954 Godzilla movie; definitely not hokey like the '60's Godzilla films (which I also love).

The scariest thing that I've ever seen,
is the terrible AT-AT walking machine.
It's as big as a house on walking legs,
and whatever it steps on it crushes like eggs.

Fair Game

No, not the Cindy Crawford movie....this one is about the CIA agent who had her name leaked by the White House back in 2003.  Wasn't bad, wasn't great, it was just sorta there.

Wolfcop

Canadian B-movie, it had one or two good kills and the same for one-liners but I'd say skip it.

Howard the duck - I saw it as a kid and don't think I made it through the whole thing.

John Wick 2 was like a video game. Body count must have been over 200? Ridiculous.

Howard the Duck

I finally sat down and actually watched this.  Everything that I'd always heard was true.  It's incomprehensible.

John Wick Chapter 2

Lots of gun play but lacks to originality of the first film.  Stole the climate from Tango and Cash, who I guess stole it from Enter the Dragon.

The Revenant

It was gritty but really slow in the middle.  You go a good two hours between exciting sequences.
