17.99?  For a 7" figure?  I think this will be the final straw for me with this line.

same here what does it break down to?  about $2.25 an inch!

They're going to justify it by saying they're giving us more articulation (which they are), but for something that is sold in stores and not just as an online exclusive, then yeah the price is getting too steep.

What articulation are they adding Jim.  I know they added the articualtion on Green Arrow but is that something they were going to be doing to the rest?  It's a shame when articulation that used to be common place is added back into a scale   and then the toy mfr's act like this is new.  Man I miss the good old days of ML about 5 years ago.  It's crazy how much as changed with this hobby in the last 2-3 years.  Greed has run rampant and we are getting less and less for our money.  Things keep up like this I may be quitting the hobby all together until more rational heads start to run these companies.

Jim let me know when you'd like to meet up.

Some rumors that DCUC will be going up to $17.99.  If this is true I'm out.  No way can I justify paying $10 more than what these figures should cost.  Overall I'm getting really fed up with how much greed is going on with the toy companies.  Figures on a whole  have risen ridiculous levels, more than most other things, in the last 5 years.  It's uncalled for and I hope the toy companies start to choke on on this stuff.

It seems K-Mart will be selling them again. I stopped in at one store yesterday and saw a peg for them.

That sucks because I rarely see the waves unless I am traveling outside VA.

Well it turns out that WM has used its clout to get yet another exclusive wave. Wave 14 is scheduled to be a WM exclusive.

They're on sale this week at Target, 7.99$. It's unadvertised.

New news on the 2 packs, they will still be made, but will be Wal-Mart exclusives. Also if you held off on buying the WM 5 pack, check WM.com, it's now 40$.

Target is slowly getting in wave 8 and 9 at the same time. They are coming in mixed cases. I saw 2 cases that had the following figures in them; 1 Dr.Fate, 1 Black Canary, 1 Green Arrow, 1 and 1 Hawk Girl. You may not be seeing them due to the over abundance of wave 7 on the shelves.

It seems that after the 2 pack with Animal man and B'wana Beast, they won't be making any more. However, they have stated that they will be selling the individual figures (starting with wave 11) on MattyCollector.

Mattel says they've only just begun to ship wave 9 and 10 and that more is on the way. Screw wave 9, what happened to wave 8? Also pictures of wave 13 are up.
