Nice! I hope that Cloud Car becomes a reality. I have been holding off on buying a Vintage one (heck if I can figure out what happened to the one I had as a kid) specifically for this reason - I knew they would one day release it!

Only one more Vintage Item update from the ESB line then that I would really want - I'd love to see them update the Dagobah playset one day - I know that's not likely - but one can dream!  ;D

WHAT?!?!?!

Check it out.  Prototype images of the long awaited Rebel Snowspeeder and a brand new Twin Pod Cloud Car have surfaced in the Rebelscum forums!

Hopefully Hasbro would go for a cloud car, although I have a feeling it would only be as an exclusive since they'd say it doesn't have enough "action scene support" or something along those lines.

I always thought it would be interesting to get a convention exclusive vehicle,  a cloud car would be a good choice for that, considering CV  is next year.  I doubt that would happen though.

That's a sweet line-up!  Any of those figures would be fantastic.  And as a background alien nut, I'd be especially excited for Treva Horme.

Hopefully Hasbro would go for a cloud car, although I have a feeling it would only be as an exclusive since they'd say it doesn't have enough "action scene support" or something along those lines.

I'm hopeful for the Cloud Car, too.

I have been on Hasbro's case for a Cloud Car for quite some time.  Brian Wilks' response to me when I talked to him about it was, "It's a taxi."

It's not just a taxi.  It's a BRIGHT ORANGE, TWIN POD taxi that really stands out in terms of palette and design in the Star Wars universe.  And it's one of the remaining glaring omissions that makes the vintage line of vehicles almost seem more complete.  Plus, the updated Cloud Car Pilot was released in 2004...so, what's the hold up, already?

Thankfully Brian Wilk is no longer on the Star Wars team.  He's moved to another licensed group within Hasbro.  And for the record, he's not only opposed the Cloud Car, but he also stood in opposition to some other fan requested figures in the past.  With him off the team I have to wonder if some items may have a better shot at being made.

Yeah, they've made every other vehicle...so why not the cloud car? Taxi would be that large subway looking vehicle from AOTC.

It's not like we're asking to make that ESB talking Rebel Transport cloud which held the six figures on the outsides (although it would be cool to see a new one).

What else can they make figures wise?  They have updated with a lot of figures this year and last.  My guess is

Royal Guard
Ugnaught(2nd version)
Vader?
Bespin Leia/Hoth Leia
Dagobah Luke
Dagobah Yoda
Boba Fett
Lobot
Chewbacca
Probe Droid

Wampa
Taun Taun(wayyyy over due)
AT AT- update cockpits & bigger?
Snow Speeder
AT- ST
Cloud Car

From my conversations with Hasbro at SDCC, it sounds like the rumors that have been swirling about a new Slave I are just that.  That is, unless they're really playing this one close to the vest.

I've been seeing a lot more indications that a new AT-AT may be in the works.  I'm hopeful for the Cloud Car, too.

As for figures, I think we're likely to get a couple of waves worth.

I think that there's a really good chance that we'll see either a redone AT-AT or a redone Slave 1 (which of course could be repainted in the AOTC colors for a new version of Jango's ride too).

I would love it if the Cloud Car finally surfaced, but I think we have zero chance of ever getting that.

Well other than some Family Guy figures to go along with their ESB tribute, I would love to see some type of cloud car redesign cause that's never really bee touched. Would also like to see if they do anything with the AT AT's.
