- 2x Mego Mad Monsters (Dracula and Wolfman...sorry, Titus!)

And the REAL biggie, as can easily be seen in the picture, is the Clash of the Titans Kraken.

 :o YOU SUCK!!!  ;D

I had no idea I was getting the Megos.  My mom found them in an antique store in Somerville, and they were relatively cheap, so she bought them.  Go figure!

Yeah, that's something I've wanted for a while, and this one's in great shape.  Thanks, eBay! :P

Darth Monkey's 2009 Christmas Haul
« Reply #1 on: December 25, 2009, 02:49:32 PM »

Well, another year, another absurd Christmas haul from the rest of my family.  My tastes are getting gradually more eclectic than previous years, with a focus on relatively unknown late 1980s and early 1990s toys.  So here's the pic, with a list of things that I received to follow:

Okay, here we go:

- A-Team Theme Sheet Music
- Battle Builders toy by Toy Biz
- Captain Planet (2 action figures, one large figure by Applause w/ tags)
- Captain Planet costume proof sheet from Collegeville Costumes
- Jim Gaffigan's Pale Force on DVD
- Food Fighters BBQ Bomber MIB
- Socket Poppers by Ertl x9
- Six Million Dollar Man Christmas Album (four Christmas-themed adventures)
- Monster Force action figures by Playmates x5
- LOTS of Galoob Army Gear figures and playsets
- Madballs Top MOC
- Photon Laser Tag set MIB
- American Gladiators figures x5
- Hallmark Star Wars ornaments (Anakin/Asoka and Han in Stormtrooper Disguise)
- Arco Other World figures
- TMNT Mini Mutants playset MOC
- 2x Exo Squad E-Frames MIB
- 2x Mego Mad Monsters (Dracula and Wolfman...sorry, Titus!)
- Mega Plumber Action Hero (a promotional action figure made for American Standard)
- 2x Play Asterix chariot sets MIB

And here are what I consider to be my "biggies" this year:

- original comic art for a full page from a Kool Aid Man comic book
- an original arcade sign for the "Michael Jackson's Moonwalker" arcade game
- a very, very disturbing Mr. T doll from Argentina

And the REAL biggie, as can easily be seen in the picture, is the Clash of the Titans Kraken.

HAPPY LIFE DAY, INDEED!
