I'm tempted to buy some of the micro playset heads, since they kinda remind me of Mighty Max.

I've caved and bought some of the Iron Man 2 movie figures (and one lone concept armor).

-Iron Man Mk 4
-Iron Man Mk 5
-Iron Man Mk 6 (lightup)
-Iron Monger
-War Machine
-Concept Hyper Velocity armor

I think DC is probably safe Jim.  Mattel can't seem to get that right and their offerings so far have been small and horrible.  I think though that Mattel has to drop their prices a bit though or they are going to run themselves  and the 6" figures out of action figure business.  I've been cherry picking assortments now and even passing on certain figures I would like to get but can't justify it.

Since Hasbro dropped their prices on their figures they started to move again.  A lesson for all toy companies...drop the prices along with their greed.

Then I guess I'll give up collecting, I have no interest in 3 3/4.

I agree with greed and therefore the cost of things on the rise for the time being. I think 6" figures are going to be really phased out in most cases except for specialty stuff.  Rest assured once we have all pretty much converted to the 3 3/4 size and have mass amounts of figures in that scale the toy companies will switch back to the larger size more frequently.

Crazy and sad that we used to be able to get a 6" figure, only 5 years ago, for the price we are now paying for a figure half its size.

I keep on looking at these every time I'm in the store.  They're really cool, but I feel so much more invested in the 6" figure line that I don't want to take the plunge into this 3-3/4" figure line.

I picked up the Concept - Deep Dive version.
I think I'll pick up a couple others too.
The detail is quite good considering the scale.

Can't wait for the movie!! =))

Picked up a few small ones today.  The details are pretty good for the small size.

picked up four of these figures so far (one of which is for a custom).  I have to say these are some of the nicest figures I've gotten in awhile.  I just picked up the ones that grabbed my curiosity since I already have several shelves full of 6" figures, but the ones I've gotten so far as really nicely made and the detail is pretty amazing.
Like I mentioned in the area reports.  The fact that the price has come down to more reasonable prices makes this line much more enjoyable to collect now as well.

Unfortuanetly no 6" figures.

Based on the Toy Fair presentation I can say definitively that there WILL be a 6" figure line for Iron Man 2.  But it's going to be limited to exclusives.  The main line is going to be in the 3-3/4" figure line which is already showing up at retail now.

There are three different collections that are in that line:
-MOVIE
-CONCEPT
-COMICS

What I've seen so far looks pretty cool.  But I think if I get anything from Iron Man 2 it's going to be the 6" figure offerings.

They pretty much alraedy stated that there would be no 6" line. They might release 1 or 2, but not a whole line.

Not in that article at least.  Let's wait and see.  The Iron Man 6" figures did pretty well as I recall.
