Thanks  - that was great. Nice to see all that reaction on their site, was kind of surprised actually. I had alot of dealings with him to know him too. He was pretty demanding when he was dealing with you, but really had nice stuff.

Hope to see you back promoting shows soon - it's been a while!

I too remember Mark from toy shows, learned of his passing on the Rebelscum forums - http://forum.rebelscum.com/t1007428/.

I last saw him maybe five or six years ago at a toy show in PA, he had a ton of slot cars, but not much in the way of Star Wars.

Update from 4/2011 - cause of death was a shotgun blast. No leads. Contains small headshot of Mark. At toy shows, he always had glasses on and his hair was a bit longer and slicked back some.

Sad story - did alot of buying from him in person, mail, and phone.

I have a little hobby of occasionally typing in old tyme dealers into Google and seeing what comes up (Josh from Plastic Dreams, James Bullock of Empire Toys, Mark Clark, etc.).

I guess I missed this news that Mark Clark was murdered back in 2008. He had been a fixture on the toy show circuit back in the mid 90's. Think I originally met him in either Cherry Hill or Atlantique City. Purchased many store displays and toys from him. I'm looking at two displays right now.

This really bothers me for some reason...guess it's all unsolved too.
