Welcome to the NJSWCC Barry!  We've got a pretty long history, and the club dates back to when STARS WARS Episode I - The Phantom Menace was originally in theaters.

We do get together on occassion for a convention or Star Wars related event, but not regular meetings.  The forum is where most of our activity takes place.  The members will largely take it upon themselves to plan get-togethers, and out of those occassions we've seen a good number of friendships develop over the years.  In that regard, you get out of the NJSWCC what you put into it!

Speaking for myself, I've made a good number of friends thanks to the forum, and I'm very thankful for that.  And it can start with something as innocuous as getting together to trade figures at a local store.

So welcome, and enjoy the NJSWCC!

I collect mostly signed memorabilia - 8x10 photos, action figures, posters, etc. I also collect commeorative coke and pepsi cans and have alot of cans from around the world that have star wars characters on them. I enjoyed seeing the phantom menace re-release in theatres a month or 2 ago but was a little disappointed in the 3d. I saw it twice! Can anyone tell me if this group has any social events or is this just an online club.
