I actually lucked out and found a Robb Stark figure at Target yesterday, and the paint apps were alright.  So now it's just Arya left.

I managed to pick up both Danaerys and Khal Drogo from Target at the $9.99 price point.  That made the purchases a little easier to deal with.  I was also really glad that I was able to get them there and check out the paint apps in person.  I've seen some good prices for these figures online, but I'm really hesitant to buy GoT figures that way.  And it's simply because I've seen SO MANY bad paint jobs on these figures in the stores.  It leaves me wondering if Amazon would accept a return if the paint apps on the figure are really bad.

I'm still looking for both Arya and Robb Stark.  I've yet to see either of them at Target, but I'm keeping an eye out.  I definitely DO NOT want to pay $20 per figure for any figure in this line.

Although I haven't tried it, Amazon seems pretty easy-going with their return policy, so I think they would accept a return for bad paint applications.

The Target by my work doesn't carry the GoT lines (or any Funko stuff), but the one by my house does (although they haven't had a restock as far as I can tell).  I guess it doesn't sell well enough to warrant a universal roll out.

I've been debating whether or not to pick up the armored Hound, but I'm not really intrigued by this line.  I preordered ThreeZero's 1/6 scale Tyrion and Eddard Stark figures, but that will probably be the extent of my GoT collection.

OK, I lied.  I picked up the Tyrion Lannister with armor and helmet, Jon Snow, and Eddard Stark from Target for $9.99 each.  Jon Snow's elbow broke immediately, but I think I can fix it with a screw.  The quality of the material is pretty weak overall - the plastic feels flimsy and, obviously, I already had a figure break by simply moving a joint.  Still, the level of articulation is nice as is the sculpting.  For $10 a piece, I will continue to buy these guys, but if they go back up to $20, I will only get a select few.

The figures were reduced to a 9.99$ price-point some time ago. I haven't seen all of wave 2, but have seen a few here and there at various Targets.

Nice!  How much was Drogo if you don't mind me asking?  I really like the series, but I've been trying to save on these where I can.

Amazon has been pretty tempting for the Wave 2 figures from a price standpoint.  But I've been really hesitant to buy them from Amazon because the paint apps on some of the figures have been inconsistent.

I just picked up that exclusive armored Tyrion.  But when I did I also saw versions of Jon Snow and Danaerys Targaryen that had exclusive tags on the packages.  I don't know what's new about those, but I'm going to try to figure it out.

Apparently they are now being sold at Target.

I had been hearing about this.  And I also heard that Target has an exclusive version of Tyrion Lannister.

So is anyone here collecting this line aside from me?

I saw them at my local Target (and then immediately forgot to include it in my store report).  I saw the Comic-con (?) exclusive - armored Tyrion with the helmet.

FUNKO - Game Of Thrones Figures

I was somewhat surprised to see that Funko is producing a line of figures based on the HBO show Game of Thrones.  It's a 6 inch scale figure line, and has launched with an initial wave of six figures.  Those include:

-Lord Eddard "Ned" Stark
-Sandor Clegane, aka The Hound
-Danaerys Targaryen
-Jon Snow
-White Walker
-Tyrion Lannister

Check out THIS POSTING FOR IMAGES.  The figures seem to be retailing for $19.99, which is what I saw them sell for at a B&N store.

So is anyone else interested in this line?  I am mightily tempted!
