$220 is REALLY high.  It's definitely beyond my means to be able to get one for myself.  But it does look absolutely incredible!

Jango looks amazing, but that price point is way too high.  If the Prometheus base body was better, it might make the price a bit easier to swallow.

Sideshow has unveiled the newest offering in the Scum & Villainy line, and it's bounty hunter Jango Fett!  There's an exclusive version which is available with Jango's pilot headgear.  It's set to ship in June of 2015, at a retail price of $219.99.

So did anybody pick up Sideshow's 12" Boba Fett figure?
Sideshow 12" Boba Fett

What are your thoughts?

I was really looking forward to this figure (probably my most anticipated 1/6 scale figure ever), but was disappointed when I received him.  I know there are a lot of complaints about the boxy nature of his vest and chest armor and the color scheme, but my main issue is with Sideshow's Prometheus body.  The base body is terrible and is very difficult to put in to a natural pose.  There are numerous highly articulated and realistically proportioned bodies on the market right now and I just can't get past Sideshow's use of the Prometheus body, even with the modifications they have made over the years.

I have been thinking about porting the figure to a new body, but I haven't bothered yet.  For now he is just sitting on my shelf next to my ROTJ Medicom (awesome figure, but slightly underscaled) and my custom Boba Fett.

Anyway, that's my rant - what are your thoughts?

WOW!  Very sharp, Mike.  Although I think I prefer the carbon freeze chamber base.  The LED's really make that pop.

So is anyone taking the plunge on IG-88?  The regular edition is still available.  But at $174.99 it might be out of my own price range.
