I think it's a very safe bet that both will make it into the basic 6" Black Series figure line, but without all of the add-ons.  And to that end I think it's just a matter of WHEN.

Still, I do wish that Hasbro had a better system in place for people who weren't going to the Con to get these.  It seems like it's feast or famine with these during the online offerings.

They look decent.  I'll probably pick them both up when they are released as individual figures (which I assume is a given).  I'm interested in the articulation of Obi-Wan; hopefully the robes don't inhibit the articulation much.

The scariest thing that I've ever seen,
is the terrible AT-AT walking machine.
It's as big as a house on walking legs,
and whatever it steps on it crushes like eggs.

FROM THE LATEST NEW FORUM:

New figure images are here thanks to Entertainment Weekly .  They have images of a pair of upcoming convention exclusives for this summer's two big Star Wars events:

STAR WARS CELEBRATION - LONDON
First up, at Star Wars Celebration in London, which runs July 15-17, The Force Awakens villain Kylo Ren will be available as  6-inch Black Series collectible, complete with a scorched and melted version of Vader’s helmet.

The miniature likeness of Adam Driver also comes with Ren’s own helmet and crossguard lightsaber, a version of that handmade laser sword’s hilt, and a banner emblazoned with the First Order insignia.

During the fan event, it will be available at the Forbidden Planet toy booth for $34.99. (More details on the packaging will be released later @HasbroPulse on Instagram.)

SAN DIEGO COMIC CON - 2016[/u]

Later in the month at San Diego’s Comic-Con International (July 21-24), a veteran character from the original Star Wars will get the Black Series treatment with this Obi-Wan Kenobi set, depicting the Alec Guinness character in the scene when the Jedi-in-hiding receives an emergency hologram from Princess Leia.

Leia herself is rendered as a miniature blue figurine atop a table with an embedded light that makes her appear to glow.

Kenobi also comes with two lightsabers — one extended, the other a hilt. His saber, of course, started out as Anakin Skywalker’s, was later passed to his son, Luke, and ultimately ended up in the hands of Rey in The Force Awakens – who was last seen offering it back to Luke.

This figure will be for sale at the Hasbro booth for $44.99.

So what does everyone think of the Celebration London and SDCC 2016 offerings?

If you saw the posts in LATEST NEWS, then you know we're in for some 6" Black Series exclusives at both SDCC 2016 and Celebration Europe.  There's been some teaser information about ROGUE ONE figures making it out at that time.  But these images show three astromechs that may make appearances in ROGUE ONE.  I'm pretty sure I saw R5-K6 in the trailer.

So what do you think about a 3-pack of astromech droids as convention exclusives?
