Star Wars Black Series Dulok (reimagined from Ewoks cartoon)
« Reply #1 on: February 28, 2017, 02:37:39 PM »

The Ewoks cartoon has always had a special place in my heart since it was how I was introduced to the Star Wars universe (as well as playing with my cousin's action figures).  The Dulok Shaman and 8D8 were my first (and for a while, only) Star Wars figures when I was a kid.  I think 8D8 has a modicum of a chance of being made as a 6" black series figure, but I'm almost certain a revisited Dulok Shaman will never see the light of day.  As such, I had to make my own.

I used the new Marvel Legends "Jackal" figure as a base.  I resculpted the head to the best of my limited sculpting abilities and gave the entire figure a repaint.  I added a belt/loin cloth type thing so that it would look updated (and to fit in with my Mythic Legions line of figures as generic bad guys).

Finished pics:

(Bandai Stormtrooper model kit, Dulok 1, Dulok 2, Poe Dameron)

Apologies for the crappy pics.
The scariest thing that I've ever seen,
is the terrible AT-AT walking machine.
It's as big as a house on walking legs,
and whatever it steps on it crushes like eggs.
