Bandai - Voltron (Dreamworks/Netflix series)

I picked up the deluxe Voltron lions this week.  They are very cool - a great throwback to the original toy (which I never owned), but without die cast parts (which is a good thing, in my opinion).  Overall this toy line seems to be pretty cool.  They have different scales (budget 5" scale line ($10), deluxe ($18 for the limbs, $30 for the electronic torso), and a deluxe completed Voltron figure (which I don't think disassembles into the component lions ($40)).

The deluxe lions, when assembled as Voltron, stand 16" tall.  The parts stay together quite well and the lions transform easily.  It ends up costing a bit over $100 total for the complete set (which have to be bought individually).  Luckily, I had some Target gift cards from Christmas that I used towards it.  I'm not sure who he is going to battle though... maybe I'll get some of those Jakks 18" figures...

The scariest thing that I've ever seen,
is the terrible AT-AT walking machine.
It's as big as a house on walking legs,
and whatever it steps on it crushes like eggs.
