The Vintage Collection Basic Figures (2018) - Hasbro News & Images
« Reply #1 on: September 08, 2017, 06:14:34 AM »

Some of the biggest news from Hasbro to come out of Star Wars Celebration Orlando is the imminent return of The Vintage Collection.  It's set to happen in 2018.  And while 2017 may be the 40th anniversary of the theatrical release of A NEW HOPE, 2018 would mark the actual  40th anniversary of the Kenner Star Wars line's debut in 1978.

The first figure revealed for that line?  A reissue of Rey (Jakku) from the Walmart exclusive 3.75" Black Series.  Other figures that will follow are set to feature increased levels of articulation.

So what do you think of this turn of events?

Quoting this from Docking Bay 94 to get this thread up to speed.

And from HASCON in Providence, Rhode Island, we have a first look at some cardbacks for the returning Vintage Collection.  Most are reissues of some of the WalMart exclusive 3.75" Black Series that include:
-Rey (Jakku)
-Kylo Ren
-First Order Stormtrooper
-Jyn Erso
-Hoth Rebel Trooper (The Saga Collection reissue)

Among the new reveals?  The Imperial Tank Driver and Supreme Leader Snoke as seen in STAR WARS EPISODE VIII - THE LAST JEDI.

Images are leaking onto social media from yesterday's setup at the Hascon venue.  Check for more images later today as the show opens.
